I want to start with some honesty. Many of you have probably noticed that I’m not as visible at the counter as I once was. That isn’t because I don’t want to be there — it’s because I’ve been living with Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. These conditions flare unpredictably, and on my good weeks I only make it into the store a couple days. On bad weeks, like this past one, I can be completely sidelined.

I hadn’t shared this formally before, but I think it’s time. Twilight Comics has been my life since 1993, and I’ve always tried to carry it forward no matter the obstacle. These health struggles are part of that story now, too.

That said, I’m usually hiding in the back anyway, and I know Tim, Mark, and Kip did their normal exceptional jobs taking care of everything while I was down. I’m grateful to them — and to all of you — for helping keep Twilight moving forward, especially during Shadow Season.
