Batman Day returns Saturday, September 19, 2026 — and Twilight Comics is getting ready to celebrate Gotham’s greatest detective in true comic shop fashion.
Whether you’re a lifelong Batman reader, a movie fan, a collector, a casual Gotham tourist, or someone who just knows the Bat-symbol looks cool on everything, Batman Day is your excuse to stop in, browse deeper, and celebrate one of the most iconic characters in comics.
What to Expect
The first Batman Day 2026 comic has been announced, and we’re waiting on final retailer details, quantities, and any additional DC announcements. Our Batman Day plans may include:

Batman has been around for more than 85 years, which is awesome… and also a little intimidating.
Don’t worry. You do not need to know every Robin, every Crisis, every Joker story, or which version of Gotham is currently on fire. We can help you find a good starting point based on what you like: detective stories, horror, action, family drama, villains, classic Batman, modern Batman, or “I just want something good.”
For Collectors
If you’re already deep in the Batcave, Batman Day is a great time to check for graphic novels, back issues, variants, featured storylines, and anything else Gotham-related that may be lurking around the shop.
Selection will vary, and some items may be limited, so visiting early is always a good idea.

Confirmed Batman Day 2026 Release
DC has already announced one major Batman Day 2026 title: Batman of Two Worlds #1.
This special one-shot is expected to arrive for Batman Day on Saturday, September 19, 2026, and brings together two versions of the Dark Knight under one cover: classic mainline Batman and Absolute Batman.
The issue features two new parallel stories, with creative teams including Matt Fraction, Javi Fernández, Scott Snyder, and Nick Derington.
